Happy New Year To You.
For some of us who wanted December 2016 not to end too quickly, it still ended and we are here now. All we can do is move forward. Life goes on.
Whoever you are, don’t allow the failure of 2016 to keep you from succeeding in 2017. We can all learn a huge lesson from the greatest footballers of the world. In a 90-minute match, a team’s best goalscorer can score about 2 or 3 goals after numerous misses. His misses would not make him collapse on the field in tear, call himself a failure, walk off the pitch and go home. No, he wouldn’t. This guy would dust himself up, shrug his shoulders, learn from his mistakes and try again … and again.
2017 is yours for the taking. Don’t be afraid of success or of failure. Take responsibility for your financial position; don’t blame the government, taxes, your city or country, your wife or husband etc. If you do, you are passing responsibility for your financial future to these outside forces. A change in the government or a pay-rise from your employer is not going to make a huge different to your financial position but if you take responsibility, it forces you to unleash the creativity inside of you; to become whatever you want to be, do or have in this new year.
